We had a great time at this place with friends! It’s just 15 minutes to the Princess Theatre and even closer to the beach. Our room was clean and well-decorated. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were super friendly. Parking was easy too. Definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a cozy spot!

The only downside was the lack of signage outside, making it a bit tricky to find at first. We had to walk around until someone helped us out.

An outstanding breakfast, featuring hot and cold options, rounded out the experience. the bathroom could feel cramped for larger guests, and the light from the shutters might disturb late risers.

I had a delightful stay at Southbank in Torquay. The owners, Danny and Dolores, provided exceptional hospitality, making it a warm and inviting experience. Although parking was sometimes tricky, the delicious breakfast and comfortable room made it all worthwhile. Definitely a gem for those who love historic places!

The location couldn't be better—just a short stroll to the beach and the bus stop right outside made exploring easy. One downside was the damp smell in the porch, which was a bit off-putting. The seating area had a TV that was audible in the bedroom, causing some distraction. I missed having a tap in the pantry area, which would have been convenient. a lovely place with a few minor issues that could be easily addressed.
